Your privacy.

Learn Heavy Games is free to explore without an account. We use optional, cookie-free Cloudflare analytics to understand which tutorials are useful and where the website needs improving.

Your analytics choice

Analytics starts only if you allow it. You can change your choice here at any time, and every tutorial works either way.

Optional analytics is off until you allow it.

Your choice is saved on this browser for 180 days. Turning analytics off reloads any open pages that were measuring, so an open tutorial may return to its beginning. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also keep analytics off.

What we measure

With your permission, Cloudflare reports aggregate page views, visits, referral websites, approximate country, browser and device categories, and loading and responsiveness metrics. Separate play-page views help us estimate which tutorials people launch. They do not tell us that a game loaded successfully or that someone finished a playthrough.

Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies, persistent visitor identifiers or fingerprinting to follow individuals across websites. We do not record screens, mouse movements, card choices or turn-by-turn behaviour. There are currently no advertising trackers on this website.

Storage on your device

We save only your analytics choice and its expiry in this website’s local storage. This is a preference, not a visitor identifier. Your browser also caches game files, images and fonts; the tutorial engine may use browser storage for its own local files. Clearing website data removes the saved choice and may clear those cached files.

Who processes information

Learn Heavy Games operates this website and decides why its measurements are used. Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, security and optional Web Analytics. To deliver and protect pages and game downloads, Cloudflare processes technical request information such as IP addresses, request times, requested resources and browser information, including when optional analytics is off. Its security services may use essential cookies when needed.

Cloudflare’s bot protection may run browser checks, present a security challenge and save a security cookie such as cf_clearance to remember the result. These checks protect the website from automated abuse and operate separately from your optional analytics choice. How Cloudflare’s browser checks work.

Optional analytics is based on your consent. Essential delivery and security support our legitimate interest in running a reliable website. If you contact us, we use your email and message to respond to your request. We do not sell personal information or use these measurements to build advertising profiles.

Retention and international processing

Cloudflare makes Web Analytics reports available for the previous six months. Our browser preference expires after 180 days. Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical information may be processed outside your country. Its privacy policy and data processing terms describe its safeguards and retention practices.

Questions and your rights

For privacy questions, withdrawal of consent or applicable requests to access, correct, delete or restrict personal information, contact admin@doubletick.org. Because our analytics does not identify individual visitors to us, we may be unable to locate measurements relating to you. Withdrawing permission stops future optional measurement; it does not reverse processing already carried out.

You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office. External publisher and BoardGameGeek links lead to services with their own privacy notices.

We will update this notice and the choices offered before adding advertising or changing how personal information is used.
