How to play Kemet: Blood and Sand

The objective

Reach at least nine Fame with no opponent ahead at the start of your Day turn. Timing matters: temporary temple and level-four pyramid points can change hands, while battle and divine tokens persist. Crossing the threshold during an action is not the same as passing the winning check.

How a turn works

During Day, players alternate placing action tokens to pray, recruit, build, acquire powers and move armies. Five coloured tokens per player must respect the player-board equilibrium requirement. Battles combine units, powers, battle cards and possible Divine Intervention; Night resolves income and refresh effects.

The ending and this tutorial

The library separates a four-player Blood and Sand game from a three-player Book of the Dead game. The expansion introduces Honor, Emerald powers and the Underworld. Follow each route’s winning start-of-turn check rather than treating the end of Day as a generic points tally.
